I’m going for my second c-section in March and last time took awhile to heal and recover. Does anyone have any tips on making recovery go more smoothly???

Good shapewear. Get a good faja to help hold you in. The sooner you can get into it the better. Don't wait 6wks.

alil but not too much. I did it after I got home. So about a wk pp. just think, when women get tummy tucks this is the same thing that they use after. Yes it hurts but once you're inside, you will feel so secure

The belly band is a lifesaver

Alternate ibuprofen and Tylenol on the dot every 3 hours for two weeks. Don’t miss or skip a dose, especially if you think you’re feeling better. Walk everyday. Even if it’s 100 yards. Try to shower everyday. Ask a partner or friend to help put on underwear /pants so that you don’t do it yourself. Have a small pillow with you so if you need to sneeze or cough, you can squeeze on your belly tightly so it doesn’t feel like your organs are going to fall out

Ask for a pico dressing, don’t shower for 1 week so it stays dry and avoid all lifting for 2-3 weeks - I’ve had absolutely no issues at all, perfectly healed and 8 weeks in x
