9cm dilated but end up in an emergency c section

My delivery pain starts at around 10 pm and the next morning at 8:55 I'm dilated 9cm and I'm in an active labor ...pushing hard but ends up in the emergency c section ....
When trying normal ....The doctor even tries to take the baby out but that time they said the bone is stuck ( I didn't understand what they meant )

Finally they said the baby gety tensed nd end in the emergency c section .....

Does anyone know what went wrong

I was in a similar position, dilated to 9cm but had to have an emergency section. I was told the lip of one side of my cervix was swollen so the baby’s head could not come out. If it wasn’t swollen I would have been considered 10cm fully dilated. Not sure if this if the same for you but sounds similar.

For me, my baby was 10lb with a big head and his head was slightly twisted in a wat they didnt like. They said the c section was for both our safety and that “he wasnt coming out the other way”

My nieces shoulder got stuck in my sisters pelvis so they had to break her shoulder, could have been the same but did the section to avoid that? If you call the hospital you can arrange a debrief to find out!

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!
