Is anyone’s toddler actually sleeping independently in their own room? My daughter is 2.5, was sleeping perfectly through the night since 1 year old in her own room and is not waking up multiple times a night crying for mama and it’s been brutal! Any tips or validation is much appreciated

Its normal at this age for kids to start becoming afraid of the dark, of ghosts and monsters etc. Im not sure how strict your household is of following independent sleep..but if it allows, id just let her sleep with me. And no, it doesnt mean she will sleep in your bed until her teens. She WILL sleep eventually...she just needs her mommy's comfort. At 2.5 I think we forget that although they feel grown up, they are still so small. If she's waking in the middle of the night for you, id go in and just pat her back to sleep or just allow her to come into bed with you...
