Hi all I’m thinking of making like pot stickers from scratch tomorrow. I have a 20 month old just wondering how can I make these that are toddler friendly and also not a choking hazard?
So I was thinking maybe chicken mince, garlic and spring onion for his filling?
Also with a homemade dumpling mixture do we have to add salt into the dough?

I make dumplings all the time and my toddler loves them. I make them bigger and she just grabs and bites.
Our favourite is with lamb and onion but trying to watch my red meat intake so we've started doing chicken mince as well and it works fantastic. I add mince, green onion, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic and ginger and whatever else comes to mind. I make a little dip for at home but when I back it for her for school I just put a bit of oil over them to make sure they dont stick together and she just eats them plain like that 😊
