Help! I am freaking out. My 25 pound toddler just kicked my belly pretty hard I jerked up. I’m 12 weeks pregnant. I’m not in pain but definitely scared. Anyone had this happen before? Was everything okay? 😭

My daughter body slams into my belly all the time (I'm 34 weeks) 😅 Babies can take a lot more then you would think since theyre pretty protected

i was kicked in the belly by a husky (i was a vet tech) very violently and multiple times at 13 weeks with my son. i immediately bled through my pants. all was good though. i had subchrorionic hematoma that caused the bleeding. i wouldn’t worry at all unless you have pain or bleeding.

As long as you aren’t having any cramping and aren’t bleeding you are probably okay. Just to be on the safe side keep tabs through the night for anything out of the ordinary and call your OB in the morning if you need to( depending on your time zone of course).

12 weeks fetus is still tiny with a lottt of fluid inside the belly that protects him/her, you and baby are probably fine ☺️

Imagine you’re in a large pool and somebody cannonballs near you. That’s probably about what baby felt. 😂 like the other women said if there’s no cramping or bleeding, you’re okay! I definitely understand the immediate worry, though. - a 12 week pregnant mom with a toddler that’s damn near a professional kickboxer 💀

My nurse practitioner friend told me that baby doesn’t emerge from behind the pubic bone till 13 weeks or so (that’s why the Doppler doesn’t work before then) so they are extra protected during that time
