Can someone explain the undergarments situation pp for c-section

I’ve had an emergency c-section but I think I have trauma blocked a lot of my memory from it. I’m having an elective cs in 7 weeks. Am I wearing a nursing bra during surgery or are you completely naked? When do I get to put on underwear again? After surgery/ catheter removal do they just do the diaper situation instead?

I have high rise underwear, diapers, and a going home comfy outfit. I’m trying to decide if a nightgown for right after surgery is worth bringing. I wore the gown they provided until discharge last time.

Completely naked. You’ll put clothes again after your catheter is removed.

I had no bra during surgery and probably didn’t put one on for a good two weeks after unless it was my nursing bra, but I really went out enough to wear it . & I didn’t wear proper underwear for like three weeks I was in the disposable freedom Mom boy shorts and the disposable white mesh underwear with the pads for bleeding that they give you in the hospital. My catheter was removed about four hours after I started getting feeling in my legs, I wore my own nightgowns my entire stay and left home in a comfy outfit!

Thank you ladies! I genuinely couldn’t remember any clothing details. It was only 2.5 years ago too 😭 I’ll pack a nightgown!

I had my elective c section today and I got told to change into a night gown and take off my knickers this is for the surgery and for the catheter, my catheter will be removed in the morning and then I’ll put on my big knickers as such, they have been checking my catheter and changing my pads every few hours. 1/2 nightgowns are definitely worth taking. It’s alot easier than putting on bottoms

I just wore a pyjama top with buttons so it had easy access for breastfeeding then nothing on the bottom until they removed the catheter, then it was just comfy pants with the pads they provided.
I wore a nursing bra for the section with the gown they put you on over the top

Yep. Naked. I didn’t wear a bra in the hospital. Milk wasn’t leaking or anything to it was just easier to not have one. I packed my own nightgown though. They put on disposable underwear I think in the operating room but I didn’t pack my own underwear to wear (or if I did I didn’t use it because I just used the disposable the hospital gave)

I got myself a huge dressing gown because im told theyll keep checking and checking catheter and clot after CS so I got myself gown so I can just open close until I can get dressed

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Constant braxton hicks!

I’m 29 weeks tomorrow and they are constant especially when I’m walking about!

This didn’t start happening until I was like 36 weeks with my son 😩

Anyone else the same?
