Threadworms…

My 4 year old has threadworms.. google is saying to bathe / shower every morning.. it’s not really doable before school, will wiping with a wetwipe suffice? Also any tips on helping the itch stop, she has taken the tablet that will kill them but the itching can take up to a week to subside so any tips would be much appreciated!

You cant let them i into school until they have been treated, highly contagious and the whole family will need treating, wash all bedding and towels as well as anything hes touches may have the eggs on

It sucks but you need to get up early and shower every morning for a week. You need to wash their bedding every day for a week. I know it sounds like a lot but it’s best to go through the treatment and get rid first time round than it linger on and you have to go through this again in 3 weeks time. Honestly there should be a survivors group for parents who have gone through this! They can go to school- if you kept them off school then you’d be off school for 3 weeks, you just need them to wash their hands thoroughly before eating and after using the toilet
