Hey! I am Aina and currently 25 weeks pregnant, due in early June! I have finally come to terms with myself and accepted I might be having some prenatal depression, and was wondering of any other women here have felt the same? It’s being really hard and lonely navigating pregnancy, I don’t have any friends with children and our lifestyles have significantly changed compared to what they were prepregnancy. I’d love to chat/meet some friends or listen to any good tips/courses/ etc!

I highly recommend therapy - a woman therapist who has a background in pregnancy and depression. I did and it helped tremendously. I also hired a doula, who was also a wonderful soundboard before giving birth. We had several sessions with her before birth and she was there day-of too. We texted and she supported me. Try to really focus on yourself, mama. Lots of support groups through hospitals too. I promise it gets better. Find some outlets that give you joy…
