Just joined the app thinking it would be very active and it’s crickets in here. I’m also seeing it’s more widely used in the UK vs US.
Is this just me or do I have settings wrong?
I’m 46 and in Peri 🙋🏼♀️

Hi, I feel for you bc I’m in perimenopause myself and it’s horrible. I need my hormones balanced asap!! Has anyone figured it out yet?

Hey! I’ve been on hormones for a long time and I’m still working out the kinks. Are you on all 3?

Yes, it's on! Hi, Nicole. I'm new, too, and just figuring things out as well on here. I agree with you, Shawntae, it's awful. Thinking we're in good company bc it's not just the few experiencing perimenopause. I confess, I'm new to this and just made an intake appointment at a clinic. I don't really know the steps I need to take.

Yay, there's life in the peri group 🤣
Oh man, I'm struggling with it. Possibly a combo of PMDD and peri symptoms. I'm 43; my doc just prescribed me an ssri last month that I was too nervous to take until yesterday. But out of desperation I'm trying it, while hoping to get on testosterone also thru a private clinic.

Well I haven’t figured it out yet but I will definitely not be asking my doctor for it. I’ll be seeking natural remedies that will rejuvenate my body. Bc all these doctors do is give you a prescription for something the know will not work.

Shawntae, what have you tried for it naturally so far? I've tried different mushrooms, ashwaganda, vitex herb, 5htp, st. John's wort, and a parasite & mold detox. (Obviously not all at the same time 😅). Usually herbs have helped me with other ailments, but nothing touched my pmdd symptoms.

Cindy, I do have those sugar cravings a lot of the time. I have frequent yeast infections, and they can't seem to help me much at my gp's ofc. Apparently, there are a myriad strains of infections. I had found out at some point I had a treatment resistant strain. I do want to try the ashwaganda. I just briefly tried oil pulling. I do believe in homeopathic and ancient remedies - have tried TCM for body aches, joint pains like cranial body work & cupping. Just found out a little about mthfr and would like to know how to test for it. I do agree, it's a good deal of trial and error with numerous factors at play. I found the same roundabout process in talk therapy! Well, im going to lean numerous on my spouse to fill me in, since doing research on this kind of thing is up his alley (supplements, homeopathic, etc.). My only complaint about being a woman at this life stage is fibroids.

It is lol

I'm 41 and postpartum and perimenopause is really kicking me! I have so little energy. Trying to stay low caffeine bc of insomnia. How are you all getting energy boosts?

I have been on HRT (all 3) for almost a year and it has helped a lot. It’s not all roses but it’s definitely calmed my symptoms. I did a ton of research and decided it was right for me.
