Hi mommas! How long did you wait to have another baby after having a c section? My son is 4 months, I’m on birth control now but having another baby has been on my mind HEAVILY😅. I have an IUD and I plan on trying again for another in maybe 2 or 3 years. Also, if you did have another baby after having a c section, did you have another c section or was it VBAC? How was the healing process (for either way of delivery)?

The recommended time in the UK was 24 months between csection so I got pregnant with my second when I was about 18months post partum, I planned to have a home birth so I was more relaxed about the whole birth, they didnt have enough midwives available at the time I went into labour so I delivered in the hospital but I was fully able to have a vbac, I had multiple consultations during the end of my pregnancy about csection vs vbac I really wanted one, I was supported but they do have to inform of the risks of the scar reopening during labour hence the recommendation to wait at least 2 years 😊

Maybe pregnant my son is 3 months. I’m open to another c section if needed

My kids are 15 months apart and both were c-sections…. Doctors weren’t happy with me but it wasn’t planned… so they took my second pregnancy and scheduled a c-section for 2 weeks before my due date so I didn’t go into labor with her

I got pregnant 4m Post C section, I'm currently 30 weeks pregnant with a low lying placenta. I will be scanned at 35 weeks to determine whether the baby will be delivered at 37 weeks or 39 by c section x

I got pregnant at 8mo PP but sadly lost it at 5 weeks 🤍.
We caugh our 🌈 at 13mo PP and they are 21 months apart and all was fine. I was allowed to have a VBAC due to getting to 10cm before but chose an ELCS due to previous trauma with first (short cord an hemorage).
Healing was harder 2nd time round though tbh.

We were told 18m between births (and it could probably be a section again) but 24m would be better. We started trying around 10m. And it took everything I had to wait that long but we did get pregnant and I was immediately sad for my toddler lol. It was a weird perspective change that I wasn’t ready for. I knew I wanted more kids but I was sad to share my time with my son. Even though he’ll be a great brother.
Got pregnant at 13m but lost it at 11 weeks. So I am taking the extra time with just one kid as a sign. Cherishing every moment.
Currently 18m and still trying.

i got pregnant when my son was 15 months old they will be 22 months apart im having a csection

I’m 3 1/2 months pp from my C-section delivery and was given the green light to try conceiving at 12 months, so when baby is 1yr old. That will be this Nov, so we’re gonna start trying Oct/Nov.
And I would love another C-section, my first experience went so smoothly! If we’re successful that would make the section deliveries about 21 months apart.

Currently 12 weeks pregnant and am almost 18 months post partum. When this baby is born our son will be 2 as this baby is roughly due 1 day before our son's birthday. But that might change with my ultrasound tomorrow

18-24m is the recommended wait time. We got pregnant with our second right before my oldest 4 birthday like a month before and then had my second 4 month before my sons 5th birthday. We tried to have a vbac but my body did the same thing and didn’t want to dilate so we ended up scheduling a c-section. Honestly the recovery was a lot better I was even up walking 3 hours after my second was born

18-24 months is recommended but I found out when my first born son was 8 months that I was 6 weeks pregnant and my second born is due in 53 days and I can’t wait

15 months apart. Both were c-sections due to preeclampsia. But when I was pregnant with my second the doctor wasn’t worried about me trying a VBAC. Preeclampsia ruined that plan though.
