Are people doing this? Little one wakes so thirsty but I don’t want he choking in the night on badly swallowed water or waking up for water breaks

I started giving my son a bottle of water over night at 4. Once he was potty trained and accidents in the night stopped because he could wake up for a wee.
Make sure he drinks more during the day and before bed, maybe he is too warm in the night which is why hes thirsty? But i personally wouldnt give a water bottle in his cot at this age x

Just saying this in case and very very orff chance, intensive thirst can be a sign of diabetes type 1. 99% it isn’t that. I just wanted to mention, so that you can look up the full symptoms, if you wish to (auntie to a little girl with diabetes)
