I’m really concerned about my LOs speech. She pretty much mumbles she also thinks she’s repeating what I say but it’s nowhere near.
She will say the odd word.
I just see that at this point they should be saying 3 word sentences. I don’t think she’s anywhere near. I was really worried till I just see a LO who she went to baby massage with having an actual conversation.
Anyone else in the same boat? What more can I do? We read all the time she loves books I feel like I talk to her a lot trying to get her to repeat what I say but I’m not sure if there’s anything else I can do

Might be worth utilising this resource https://progress-checker.speechandlanguage.org.uk- the progress checker will give you strategies to try at home based on what she is or isn’t able to do, and you might already be doing all of them, but it’s just to check there’s nothing else at a parent level you could be trying. There’s also a way you can speak with SaL professionals for free, webinars you can watch and lots of other resources too.
You can get in touch with your HV to share your worries. Has she had her 2y check? That will flag any concerns as well.
Does she go to a nursery or childcare setting? The HV or nursery staff/childminder can all make a SALT referral if there’s concerns over a possible delay.
She has her 2 year review end of March I did mention it at my youngest 1 year review in January but the HV kind of dismissed it and said she’s probably just copying her younger sister for attention. I don’t think she’s doing it for attention though 🫣 she doesn’t go to nursery I have applied but I think it’s looking to be September before she starts.
I will definitely look into all of this, thank you for your suggestions.

Have you ever had her ears checked? Sometimes, if the hearing isn't the best, it can impact the way the child hears the word and therefore impact their speech and language development

My son who was 2 in jan has only just started saying a couple words this last fee months.
Hes been diagnose with global developmental delay and suggested autism and speach delays.
He says hup (up) hap (clap) monkey , mama (not saying it to me he uses it as a babble) and uh oh
