My little guy absolutely hates being in a carrier and it’s making things so much harder! I hear and see so many moms post that their little ones love being in their carriers so which ones are you all using or pls any tips or tricks to help me get him to enjoy being in one…. I’ve tried 12 (no I am not exaggerating 😅) so at this point I’m not really sure it’s the carrier he just seems to hate being constricted, he just turned 5 months old

My little girl wasn't a fan to start with so I just wore it in the house for really short periods to start with. She still sometimes screams bloody murder when I put her in now but once we start walking she falls asleep quick. I use the ergobaby carrier x

Are you using a structured carrier with straps or a sling? Which is like a big stretchy piece of material.

Quite often they do go through a phase of hating being still around 5 months, maybe something forward facing (if he’s within the weight recommendations etc) for short periods might help? We did a lot of walking with ours so we were rarely still which I think kept him busy and distracted from being restricted x

Backcarrying high in a woven wrap or onbuhimo can be great because it’s ergonomic and comfy for both of you, and your child can look over your shoulder :)
