Night Feedings

I just left the pediatrician and forgot to ask, because ya know mom brain, but baby girl is a month old and 8lbs. Should I still be waking her up every 2-3 hours at night to feed her? Or wake up at 4 hours? Or feed on demand?

I definitely think this is case by case. Is there any way you can call to speak to the doctor or msg them through a portal?

Typically if they've regained/exceeded birth weight then you don't have to wake them, but I'd definitely ask your pediatrician

I was told the same, once they go over birth weight feed on demand and no need to wake baby.
I didn't woke mine but she made sure to wake me up :)

Once my baby girl gained and surpassed her birth weight at 2 weeks the doc said I don’t have to wake her up, but she woke me up herself lol Ig she didn’t get the memo

we were told by hv to keep waking baby up every 3 hours but its how you want to raise your baby and they can just advise we let her sleep during the night once she was over her birth weight and when we realised she could let us know when she was hungry during the day, example waking up from a nap and showing signs she is hungry.

My daughter was a nicu baby. I was told to wake her and feed every 2-3 hours. I think every case is different tho

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

My little one is struggling with sleep

Hey! I'm in need of some advice please girls! My little boy is 20 months turns 21 months in 2 half weeks. He use to sleep through the night now he is waking up every single night in the early morning, I've had to transition him to a toodler bed as he kept climbing out his cot. Just need some advice on what I can do to help him get back in to a sleep pattern?

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

6 month old autistism

My 6 month old makes no eye contact with me and doesn’t respond when I call him. Can this just be a phase or personality trait as apposed to autism

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

Baby with chronic congestion

Hi everyone! My 1 year has been a congested baby since birth almost. She breathes through her mouth so often that it wakes her up multiple times at night and she cries and screams and then struggles to go back to sleep. She wakes up every 1-3 hours and sometimes can’t go back to sleep for 2-3 hours!!! Piriton is the only thing that seems to help her sleep mostly through the night but I can’t keep giving her that!!
Does anyone have tips as to have I can do or give her? Has anyone experienced? I have no idea when I’ll get an ENT appointment and I have no idea what he can give a 13 mo :( we are desperate for sleep so any tips are welcome!! We have tried steam inhalation, saline drops, vapour rubs and everything off the counter basically!
