How are people keeping this from their toddler? 😳

I’m so excited that I want to tell her but am not ready for everyone else to find out yet! I know she will be excited because she’s been asking for her own baby brother or sister since last year!!

How old is she? My little one is 2- I tell him all the time but he’s not bothered 🤣

My girl is 22 months old and we’re holding off on telling her too as I know for sure she’d point to my tum and say „baby!” and we don’t plan to announce until at least 10 weeks 🙈

My little girl is 20 months old and she was the first person I told, even before my husband 😂 if I point at my tummy and ask her what’s in there she says ‘baby’ but she’s also baby obsessed so any talk of baby outside the house, people will just think it’s her dolly!

My daughter is also 3 (4 in june) and has been asking for almost a year when she's getting a baby sister or brother 🤣 I'm having a privet scan tommrow I'll be 8 weeks and I plan on telling family over the next few weeks as I'm pretty sure I'm starting to show already. But with have been struggling to figure out how to tell people without my daughter overhearing she dosnt miss a trick 🤣 but ideally I'd rather wait untill I've had my 12 week nhs scan before telling her

I haven’t told my 3 year old yet, but he keeps making comments like “mum has a baby in her tummy” which I’ve had to laugh off a few times 😂🙈 not officially telling him until the 12 week scan as that’s the earliest we want to announce to people but intend to try hold off a bit longer

Tried to ask my 26 month old last night if he wanted to be a big brother and he couldn’t give a shit 🙈😂

Mines only 19 months so will not comprehend it. I’ll start talking about it when I start to show

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!

Owlet

Anyone else’s owlet pi##ing them off ?!?! It goes off 5/6 a night saying it can’t get a reading and needs a snug fit. My baby is 8 months old so moves a lot. It is driving me insane and I keep end up taking it off!!
