My little girl (2.5) is showing signs of readiness for toilet training, but she just doesn’t want to sit on the potty. I’ve tried everything!
She’s now started taking off her nappy and leggings and just parades around had naked (when at home)
Any advice or tips on what to do?

We’ve been trained since Christmas but we never used the potty. My daughter just showed interest in the toilet! I brought a seat with steps from smyths! Have u tried the toilet?

We had the same for my little boy. I bought some pants for him, which he got excited about to choose and told him that one day, we will be saying bye bye to nappies and hello pants. We then let him have his pants on for an hour or two at home most days and he quickly understood he needed to go on the toilet :-)

We’re the exact same! My sons been showing signs of being ready for a while but he point blank refuses to sit on the toilet or potty. We have tried everything too 😩

Same here. By coincidence, just today we watched one episode of Bing on BBC iPlayer where they did "Toilet choo choo train" when the character needed a pee pee. Our little one loves the trains so I'm going to try that 😅😅

I think it helped our little seeing us on the toilet. He would sit on the potty while I sat on then toilet. Also the steps other people have recommended. Good luck!

I have seen these stickers for the potty. They animals appear once wet. I've not used them but it might help encourage her to try.

I got my daughter to put her dolly’s on the toilet first. It was very much “her go, your go” and that worked
