Milk not filling my 12 month old up?

My LO recently turned 1 and since he has been waking up early crying belly rumbling so we have been giving him an extra bottle as he seems hungry. Before we switched from formula he had a good routine and slept through the night and was on 3 bottles. We are now having to give him an extra bottle as it’s the only way he goes to sleep no matter how long we try to help him sleep(3/4am). We have tried increasing adding a snack during the day as he didn’t before. Any advice? Is it just me that feels this way? Should I have not done a straight switch and gradually done it instead?

I’ve considered the possibility of sleep regression but it feels too coincidental timing wise.

For reference his routine is 7:30am wake up and bottle, 9:30/10am breakfast 12/12:30pm lunch
Nap for 1hr 30mins then 3:00pm bottle and snack.
5/5:30 dinner + pudding
8:30 bedtime with bottle.

Add breakfast as children this age should be eating three meals a day and snack see how it goes sometimes the bottle at night can be a comfort kind of thing either add an extra meal (breakfast) or stop giving milk in bed offer milk in a cup (with straw) before bed brush teeth then in bed 😃

Is he not eating an actual breakfast? Just two bottles before lunch?

We're on 3 full meals+ 2 snacks throughout the day to meet our son's caloric needs. It seems like he might not be getting enough during the day to keep him full overnight- if he's in a calorie deficit for most of the morning then it's going to carry over into the night.

milk is a drink and formula is a meal with calories so that’s why he would have been “full”

I was supposed to say breakfast not two bottles 🙈 he has breakfast at 10am

have you tried maybe implementing like a supper sort of meal between dinner and a bedtime bottle?? my son is a bit older now but when he started getting like that, sometimes he just needed an extra solid food to help before bed x

Since I started introducing two snacks a day along with three meals I no longer have to feed my LO during the night, I trialled dropping a feed the other day and she ended up needing a feed during the night so I’ve gone back to giving her normal bottles along with the meals.

Wdy think of this for a toddler to learn word construction?

I'm open to anything else to start teaching him to read and write. He's 3!

Do men really enjoy fellatio?

Been together more than 10 years, but it's been a while since he even seemed remotely interested in me getting on my knees, or vice versa so to speak. I think it was once last year. Must be something I am doing wrong 🤔. Generally everything else in that department is great and we have two young kids with no extra support, so it's quite surprising we can't keep our hands off each other but may need to try new things. It's basically 2 positions each time with some foreplay.

Vanilla extract

Has anyone used alcohol free vanilla in their babies formal to help them drink?
I’m 100% sure my baby refuses her bottles as she doesn’t like the taste of it!

Just anxious to try it, don’t want her to get used to it and then refuse bottles again after two weeks of using (correct me if I’m wrong but I’ve read you use it for 2 weeks max)

TIA 🙂

Naps

How is everyone doing for naps?

Little one is 9 months old and will have 2 half hour naps and one solid 1 hour - 2 hour nap a day

Then settles for night around 9pm. Wakes for a feed around 3:30 then sleeps until 6-7

Sex post C section

Hi ladies I’m 4 weeks 5 days postpartum and I had a C section. I’m not bleeding properly anymore just some brownish discharge stuff that starts on and off. I’d like to do the deed with my partner; is it okay to do so or shall I wait the full 6 weeks. I feel up for it but also worried because the advice is 6-8 weeks.

Pumping advise

FTM to a 2 week old! I’m breastfeeding and then giving one formula bottle last in the evening before bed. I want to start expressing milk to give me some breathing room and also allow my partner to be more involved in feeding. I’m finding the idea of introducing pumping into my day quite overwhelming though. I don’t want to take milk away from my baby by pumping if he needs it during the day when being breastfeed.

Can anyone advise how I start pumping and when to do it? Thank you!
