membrane sweep

they didn’t work for me but it isn’t painful! little bit of a weird feeling and it’s not exactly nice. it does depend on midwives though each different midwife who did mine it felt slightly different :)

It was a weird feeling not quite painful but uncomfortable i would say. I had 2 before I went into labour

I had 4, none worked but none of it hurt just uncomfortable x

I had 4 at 39+ weeks and none of them worked for me. But they weren’t painful, just a bit of pressure.

I had mine at 11:45am when I was 39 weeks, contractions started same day at 10pm. Baby was born around 4am the next morning

Uncomfortable not painful. My daughter was born the following morning!

For me it was definitely more uncomfortable than painful. I had 3 sweeps and only the last one worked, but I’d also suggest expressing colostrum.
I had my sweep at 12am, started expressing around 1pm and an hour later I started getting contractions.
Everyone is different of course, but hopefully it works for you too 🤞🏻
