Health anxiety

Since having my son I have a lot of health anxiety. My son is 2 and I’m turning 42.

Everytime I go for bloodwork my cholesterol is high especially my LDL.

My diet isn’t the best. So I’m def big to blame and it’s also hereditary in my family.

I also have hypothyroidism so I take medicine for that and I go to endocrinologist for that.

About 2-3 weeks ago I went to my normal pcp and had a physical done and he finally prescribed me medicine for my cholesterol. I’m also on an antibiotic for a UTI so they told me to wait to start the medicine. I feel really nervous to take it but I also feel like I’m going to have a heart attack before I start.

When I last saw my endocrinologist he told me he wanted to hold off on prescribing me medicine for my cholesterol. I’m suppose to be getting blood work for my endocrinologist in April. Was debating on finally changing my diet and see what my results are in April. Or do I start taking the medicine before.
Should I call and speak to the endocrinologist regarding taking the medicine.

My head is spiraling thinking I’m going to have a stroke or a heart attack before April.

I see so many people who are against statins but also a lot of people that said they take it and feel fine.

Help me!

Genetics play a role but not always… if it can’t be managed by lifestyle changes then statins are needed. Either way you should make a change or two it doesn’t have to be all at once. If it’s genetic changes to your lifestyle won’t lower your cholesterol. I think you should do what you’re comfortable with. Has it been high for years? Have people in your family had heart attacks at a younger age? You can always let them know you were prescribed it by your pcp and see what they think

She’s cominggggg🥹

Alright ladies, I’m officially coming into that final stretch!! I’m 31 weeks on Saturday.
I would love any and all advice. Anything you’re thinking “oh I should definitely tell her that” tell me. I want real don’t try to sugar coat or try not to scare me I want it all!! lol
Things I should not be worried about but might, things that people make a big deal about but it’s not, things I absolutely need to prepare, things I absolutely don’t, etc. 😅

Check in

Just wanting to check in and see how everyone is feeling, we’ve not long to go. We’ve got through the first trimester, the second, and now we are just waiting for baby to arrive. I’m due 15th November so could be 3 weeks or 7 😵‍💫

Hope you’re all okay, and thought I’d make a post so we can all share our current ups and downs, what we are looking forward to or what we are nervous about. Let’s support each other 💕

Going from 1 to 2

I have a little girl and I’m currently 5/6weeks pregnant. I’ve had two chemicals so this pregnancy so far has had me on edge. Although we did want another, I’m now scared.
My girl will be 3/4ish weeks off turning 2 when the next one is due.

I’m now starting to think about how it’ll realistically work… having to get out with a toddler and a baby. How am I going to get them both up and ready, meals, nappy changes solo trips etc. like I was shopping earlier and thought ‘how could I do this with 2?!’ When my toddler was climbing out the trolley and not letting me get her in the car seat etc.
panicking..

Eustachian tube dysfunction/muffled heading

Hi, anyone else had experience of blocked ears during pregnancy? Feels like I'm underwater when I talk. It's intermittent. I'm 27 weeks but had it for a couple of months now. It's driving me nuts. Gp said I don't have wax and that it's eustachian tube dysfunction. Anyone had this and did it go after birth? Any tips of managing in the meantime? Thanks so much x

Postpartum

Ugh! I cannot stress it enough! The brain fog is insane and not something I can’t control 😟 I left my phone in Starbucks bathroom and thought I left it in the Ross changing rooms. Whole time I didn’t notice until I was asked about my phone!! Luckily it was still in the Starbucks bathroom but UGH! How do you make this stop??? I swear one day I might forget I have a baby! My son! Like I don’t know. This isn’t predictable and it just happens when it happens and I don’t notice until asked. Do any other mom’s experience this? What do you take or do?
