Swim suits still right?

I was talking to my friends today about having to order my sons swim suit (rash vest and shorts) and she said I shouldn’t need the rash vest anymore as he will be nearly 4 but I didn’t think it was an age thing I saw it as a protection from the sun thing 🫣 she said noo he should be well okay by now… thought I’d put it out to the group and see…

My son is 8 and still wears the rash vest. My girls are 10 and 3 and also wear rash vests. It's about privacy too but mainly about the sun. X

My son wears just trunks to swimming pools etc but I'll be buying him the top when we go abroad in may! X

Rash vest is sun protection. Not sure why your friends on about to be honest

Still use the all in one suit things for my 3.5 year old on holidays. But only buy the UV protection ones. She does wear swimming costumes too! Given up with the swim hates as she just takes them off but still a sun hat xx
