MIL

I’ve been really low contact with my MIL for almost a year now. After I had my daughter she got WEIRD.
recently she’s been sending me memes and has tried to call me a few times which I either don’t answer or tell her son so he can call her.
I don’t like this woman.
I feel really weird that she’s messaging me and trying to have a relationship with me now after it’s been about 9 months since we’ve spent ANY real time together comfortably.
I keep opening them but not responding hoping she just stops. Whenever I bring this up with my partner he gets really awkward and uncomfortable because he knows I don’t like her. I want her to leave me alone but idk what to do or how to make that happen.

Any advice?

Block her. If she has something to say, that's a her problem.

For context, why don’t you like her? From this it kind of seems like she wants to connect with you so you two can have a better relationship.

After reading your extra responses of the hell she put you through, I personally wouldn't give her a minute of mine or my child's time! You don't treat people let alone your DIL the way she did!
Your daughter is too young now but as she gets older she will notice and see how MIL treats you and think it's okay if you allow it.
Where is your partner in all this? Why is he allowing the disrespect?
If you don't respect or even like one of the parents, then you don't get access to the child.

I’m in this position too I don’t want a relationship with her but equally she only wants one with me on her terms as long as I bow down to her and make all the effort to go over there etc, how have you navigated her seeing your baby if you don’t mind me asking as this is something I’m unsure on how to go about currently we’ve agreed my partner just takes her on his own so I don’t have to see her because she makes me want to throw up with anxiety every time I see her

Dont make him feel bad about his mom.
Just keep ur distance and have him keep the communication with her.

Sometimes this is also an internal problem and not just the MILs
