What kind of pjs are we buying for post c section? Do they need to be dark colours (to avoid blood marks) or will lighter be okay?

Very loose one and any color tbh, I bought black, pink and blue

Entirely up to you regarding coloured but I chose darker ones just in case. Also choose nightie over two piece pjs. Believe me you will not want to bend down to put them on and I also had a catheter through the night so it was more convenient

Cheep primark black nightie very comfy, easy if need the bathroom x

I had big black pants and two very soft nursing jersey nighties, one black and one light grey absolutely fine! One piece all the way you'll be in knee length compression socks too that they give you. I chose a chunky knit open jumper as a dressing gown and the top layer to/from hospital

Dark preferably, that’s what I did, I bought many maternity PJs from Shein, super soft and comfortable. I would also recommend Tena underwear I wore them for about 3 weeks as I had barely any bleeding post CS and thought it may come later but didn’t , but wanted to be safe and comfortable.

Honestly use wore my normal pjs.
Until your catheter is out you’ll be in the theatre gown and mesh knickers. After you are up and showered you can change into your own clothes.
Big knickers and comfy pjs is all. Open front is good too if breastfeeding. I wore nighties around the house for comfort too.
I’d add I barely bled after either caesarean. Heavy for 2/3 days then panty liners for a week. I was vacuumed out in theatre both times so never had any leaks or issues.

I wore a very oversized nightie and worked wonders, it was white and had no issues - also buy the Frida c section briefs. So comfy!!

Ive got nightie he bought me with Mama on it. And I got very loose one from Primark so comfy so got that for after, after all the blood stuff. My mum bought me a tracksuit to come home in 🥰

Get a long loose night with top buttons from amazon. Don’t wear anything that will put pressure on your c section (no elastic bands)

I used the hospital gowns

I did green and off white.

Literally I had a nightie but I literally stayed in my bra (like nursing bra) and nappy for me I found it so much easier wearing nappy for bleed. I didnt change until it was time to go.
