Ringworm or Eczema on 8 month old baby boy? (Photo attached)

Also, we do not see him itching himself or acting as if he is bothered. I know the outside is raised/ scaly

this is how my little boys eczema started around this age! kept getting given fungal cream constantly but it’s actually eczema called discoid eczema x

That is hard to say because it does look like Ring Worm but could be just skin irritation. I think seeing your doctor is best. I worked in the vet field and we used a Black Light to test animals for Ring Worm bc it will glow under black light, if you have one maybe try that?

My baby had the same thing! I went to several doctors. We figured out that it was an allergy because it would be there today and tomorrow it would be gone. Ringworm is supposed to stay a while. We never figured out what the allergy was but it went away after a few months

If it was eczema, he’d be scratching A LOT. At least that’s what I’ve seen. By the look of it, I would say ringworm.

We just had a similar experience and took him to the doctor and the dr gave us some creams, he also didn’t say it was ringworm but it didn’t look as red as your baby’s mark on their leg so maybe this one is ringworm in which case you should go and they will prescribe anti fungal creams or antibiotics baby

We took my toddler in for a rash that looked just like this, thinking it was ring worm. They told us it was eczema and gave us hydrocortisone. I was annoyed and unconvinced that it was going to help and sure enough it was cleared up the next day lol.

My sons eczema looks like this my son doesn’t scratch his but we got cream and I found certain things were setting his eczema off
