They’re clothes so why wouldn’t they be able to?

Avatar

I don’t see why not?

they’re quite cheap quality, normally run the same price as multipacks from primark or asda so i wouldn’t recommend. there’s some really low quality stuff on it

Avatar

I heard there’s chemicals in those clothes hence the reason why they are so cheap (lead and other chemicals that are bad)

Avatar

Just wait till they pass the newborn stage I think

They’ve been proven to contain lead and other dangerous chemicals. I’d stick to the supermarkets etc x

Some of them have been discovered to have lead in them so I never did

I bought one outfit from SHEIN for newborn and it was okay
It’s only been used for pictures for few hours
But I would not buy their daily clothes like onesies and sleeping stuffs from there because they are mostly polyesters and not cotton
I prefer 100% cotton and natural fibres for baby clothes as it keeps them cool

When you get ready to check out, it shows which item you have that have a warning. You can add what you like to cart and then take off anything that has a warning before you buy it 👍🏽

I don’t think it’s safe at any age

It’s all polyester and whatever else, I would avoid for newborn, 100% cotton is best. My toddler has a few outfits from Shein which he will wear occasionally for nursery or playing in, but wears them a little as possible x

Shit quality, horrendous working conditions & most importantly for a newborn, proven to contain high levels of lead and other concerning chemicals. Easy no for me

Fine but they’re not great. I ordered a couple of bits for my eldest a few years ago and the sizing was all off and most of it was crap tbf x

My baby is almost a year old and wears Temu bamboo sleepers since he was 3 months and I love them! They last forever and we haven’t had any problems, I know you asked about SHEIN but thought I would share about Temu 😊

Some Shein baby clothes are amazing and then others are absolute crap. I would look for the wool jumper kind of material they are really good but for body suits and stuff I would get from the supermarket. x

I don’t buy baby clothes on Shein because I shop for myself on Shein- dresses, heels, makeup stuff- all my nail stuff hair stuff lash stuff, skincare etc. my Shein app is all my stuff added to cart. For a lot of sahm w no income I’m able to look my best by buying Shein stuff for myself. Baby stuff I go once a year in the shops and do a big haul for the next size up. The best thing on shein for babies if you need a dress for wedding or a tux etc. (their wedding dresses for girls are super cute) but not their every day clothes imo.

If you are looking for something cheaper since they are newborn, what I did is get all her clothes from once upon a child store, it’s second hand but since babies are such gentle wearers the clothes are almost brand new so I don’t feel bad when I didn’t get to put her into an outfit that she grew out of quickly, or if she had a massive blow out in public that I can just toss those clothes and not worry about getting the poo stains out and carrying stinky clothes with me
