If you have a sling library near you I’d recommend going and trying some carriers out. I was sure on what one I wanted based on other people’s recommendations but when I tried it on I hated it but the sling consultant helped me find one that was a lot more comfortable for me and my baby.
A lot of them also offer hiring so if you only wanted it for the holiday you don’t have to buy a carrier

We spent a good chunk of time at John Lewis yesterday as I didn't want to spend £20 to try on at the sling library. We have a 7.5m old who is just about 9kgs an narrowed it down to Ergobaby omni 360/deluxe, Baby Bjorn Harmony and Nuna Cuddl Clic. Ergobaby is a pain to put on by yourself. Nuna and Baby Bjorn were equally as comfortable to support our heavy girl but Baby Bjorn won, purely due to it being less bulky otherwise I would have gone with Nuna since its cheaper.

I hired a Lenny lamb upgrade from a sling library and absolutely love it! Defo recommended hiring a couple and seeing what works for you x

Tula FTG or the izmi breeze for holiday as it’s got a mesh insert so good for hot weather x

We have a 9kg 7 month old, he doesn't like normal carriers. We've got one of the Bambora slings not hands free but helps take his weight 👌🏼

We have the Nuna cudl. Have used it for all three of my kids. Has longevity, easy to use. Easy to put on.

I’ve used the Ergobaby omni 360 for all three of mine (even when they were heavy toddlers) and I love it! I find it easy to put on too

I’ve got mom cozy one n it doesn’t hurt my back

I have tula explore and my girl is comfortable in it
Please tell me what your experience is with your 8m old.

Let’s see it ladies.
You’ve got to laugh or you’ll cry, let’s be honest 🤣
Edit: this is what I caught in the shower and does not include anything that went down the plug, anything that stayed on my comb, anything still attached to my body when I got out or anything that was still in the bath when I was done ✌️.

How long did you leave it till you had sex again after having your baby?

Someone please help me with some advice because I’m losing my absolute mind 😭
Baby is 5 months old, she has changed a lot in personality over the last month, more needy, sleep changes etc but have put it down to the 4 month regression and teething.
However, the problem that makes me want to literally cry is the car seat! She is totally inconsolable now every time she’s in the car. Why? And what can I do to help it?!

My baby is almost 4 months, she was always so happy and smiley but recently she SQUEALS!!! if she’s not squealing, she’s crying, no matter what we do.
When we pick her up, she wants to move every two seconds and stiffens up and screams at us to move her, in the car, play gym, in her swing chair.. it’s relentless!!!
Anybody else experienced this?? I’m worried (although I hope not!) that because I never let her “self soothe” and responded to every sound she’s made that I may have spoiled her like people said and I laughed at?
Pic of my usually smiley girl so we don’t get lost 🩷

Baby J is sleeping and waking for feeds now rather than timing the feeds as per midwife advice, worry about when he is asleep and not changing a nappy for 2 + hours. Mum anxiety it horrible for that but I’m sticking with never wake a sleeping baby.
