Yeah I'd say, my sweep with my first was at 40+3

I think so.. why would you have it before ?

I had mine at 38 weeks cause I was already 3cm. If your body is not ready they won’t sweep you. But it’s best to wait cause it’s soo painful😩

You can have a sweep from 39 weeks and then you can have 3 in 1 week

You don’t actually “have to have it done”, it’s optional. It’s a form of induction, and it can help induce labour if your body is ready. I had one with my first, won’t be having one this time, but it’s worth doing a bit of research so you can decide for yourself :)

I have been offered one on Wednesday. I will be 39+3.
I wasn’t offered them last pregnancy though and baby came 39+6!

I think it’s a trust by trust thing. Last time I don’t think I was offered one until at least 40 weeks if not 41. This time my midwife has said I could have one at 39 weeks if I wanted to. Same midwife but I think she said their guidance has changed.
