I have been since around 6/7 months but I've been making sure that stuff doesnt have added sugar or salt, offering only small amounts etc. But my son also went straight to finger foods and didn't do purees because he hated been fed etc which I think helped for us. He is also my second.

I've ordered plain chicken from nandos and given her the chicken under the skin and she loved it. It does still have salt though and the manager wasn't able to tell me how much so I only gave her a little bit. I think very occasionally it's ok as long as the diet is predominantly non salted/added sugars.

We do nandos, wagamamas, m&s cafe. Plain grilled chicken, sweet potato,, toast with avo or scrambled egg, bento box

I personally wouldn’t not just because of the salt/sugar situation but I also don’t fully trust how food is prepared and I want to wait until her stomach is a little more mature before exposing her to restaurant and cafe foods x

We do! Only really tiny amounts and then I’ll bring food with me like cucumber sticks etc and water. He loves to sit around the table eating with everyone so it’s a nice experience x

Yes, just small amounts. I don’t worry if she has the odd meal that has salt in as long as it’s not a regular occurrence

This is great thanks everyone! We have a family members birthday on Monday at a pizza place and thought it would be nice if he could have a cheese pizza or something. Exciting! X
