Preparing first born for new baby

My daughter will be almost 4 when her baby brother arrives, we are talking to her about it, we got an activity book about it and she is excited at the moment. Does anyone have any hints or things that have helped when preparing a child for the change?
I fully anticipate that, no matter what we do now, she will have some big feeling and tricky behaviour when he comes, but I’d like to help her as much as possible now.

My situations slightly different as my oldest will be just turning 3 when the twins are born but he’s also autistic so struggles to understand things in the normal way . We’ve been very heavy in the ‘baby in mummy’s belly’ which he’s been starting to understand and a lot of people have suggested to us getting a crying doll and pretending to look after that like you would an actual baby to get him used to the idea but honestly I have not got the energy for that 🤣 so think we’re just going to struggle for a while 😬

My plan is to think about routines now, so my little one is involved in knowing how baby is growing and we have amended our routines to account for 'bump' and talk about when baby arrives and time they need and take. My son is 4.5 years and will nearly be 5 when baby arrives. I would like him to meet baby with just us there and want to plan it so I'm not holding baby when he arrives and all the cuddles are just for him. I'm getting a little box ready to give him from the new baby with fun little things and want to try and plan a few activities in the first few months where me and him or just him and his dad can go, without baby so he feels like our attention is still shared. He also has an Annabell doll he plays with and is excited about looking after a new real baby and helping out
