I've posted before, husband expects to be catered to. He wants a wife that cooks, cleans, cares for the kids and animals, preps all of his meals/activities/trips, and still works full time plus tries to do things on the side for extra money while he just works and babysits the kids a day or two a week. Couple that with increasing anxiety and depression that he refused to treat for over a year, months of emotional and verbal abuse/name calling. I've threatened leaving, I've begged him to try to heal, I've walked on eggshells and changes how I talk and do things to limit his blowups. I told him a gave up and he finally started meds. He's been getting better but I just feel more and more repulsed by him. He brought up the lack of sex again, accused me of brainwashing the kids to not want to be with him....it finally clicked, I asked him to leave, I told him I'm no longer in love with him and we need time apart to figure out what to do next.
Suddenly he's helpful and playing with the kids. Suddenly I must be the one mentally fucked up (his words) and need to see a professional. Told me if I kick him out he's gone for good and I can tell the kids he was just their imagination 🙄. I called 4 therapists that day, already scheduled with one. I'm proving a point and I'm done with this neverending game. My kids and I are better off alone.
