Anyone think they're gonna have a very big baby???

My son was measuring 74th percentile at 20wks (roughly 22wks doc said). I'm 22wks today, and tomorrow I find out how big he is now.......I'm scared 😱

My first was 77th at 20 weeks and only weighted 8lb 15oz which is very normal for a healthy baby! No worries mama and chunky babies are the cutest.

Babies go through growth spurts in the womb. They can be big one appointment and on track or even behind at the next scan. Your baby could be big, but also it could be they grew a bit more before the anatomy scan and slowed down after. Its not always linear.

mine was 65th percentile and i hope he doesn’t go higher bc i’m a small person 😂

My first three years ago was estimated to be a giant 10 pound baby, he was born full term after 39 weeks weighing only 6 pounds lol. Don’t trust the scan measurements 😂

My girl was always said to be in the 90’s (percentile wise) while I was pregnant with her. She was born at 8lbs 4oz. She’s 16M now, and still averaging at 98/99% for height and 95-96% for weight 😵‍💫
Not as bad as I expected. I thought she’d come out 10lbs or more!
Currently expecting a boy, and his 21W ultrasound also said he’s in the 90’s! 😭

mine was 81 percentile at 20wks then measured 41 percentile i think at 23 wks so it fluctuates ig

Labour?

Contractions have been regular then seemed to taper off a bit. Screenshot from my app. Is this actually labour? Each contraction is very painful and im sort of trying to breathe through them but also sometimes having to moan. I'm shattered as I've not slept a wink so far tonight as its been ongoing on and off all evening/night. Should I call triage and ask to be seen? Don't want a wasted 40min journey 🙈

Successful VBAC welcome to the world!

Waters broke at 36 plus 4, after 36 hours of labour, including the most intense contractions and pushing that I thought was impossible (you’ve got this ladies!) followed being cut open and stitched back up to get her out when she was stuck, my darling daughter Loretta was born at 5 pounds 5 🩷

Head flopped backwards

Mums, has this ever happened to you?

My 9-week-old was being held upright and for a second I took my hand away from supporting his upper back/neck. He suddenly flopped backwards quite far and it really scared me. He seemed completely fine afterwards and has been acting normally.

I know babies this age still have wobbly head control, but has anyone else had a similar moment? I think I just need some reassurance 😭
