Mucus poop TMI warning!
My boy has a mucusy poop on average once a day. Sometimes it will be just mucus. The others are more normal for a 4 month old. Mushy, yellow, mustardy.
He’s really dribbling atm and I’ve read this can cause mucus. It makes him cry when he farts sometimes and passes this mucusy poop (I think!) 💔
I’ve added an image (sorry in advance!) Is this normal??

My little girl was like this, always cried when passing gas too. She's just been diagnosed with CMPA at 4 months. Mucus in the poo is one of the symptoms, since we've had her on the prescription milk her poos have become so much better a lot more firm and normal. Might be worth looking into xx
She is on Aptimil Pepti 1 - we also got fobbed of with reflux at first they told us to use a reflux formula which made her have severe constipation and we ended up in hospital. But now shes been on this Aptimil for around 4 weeks she's like a different baby. She still has some reflux but all the other symptoms have settled. Just wish I'd pushed earlier on to try the pepti milk from the start. Hope you get sorted xx
