FTM here just wondering what things you would change or do differently this time around? Whether that’s end of pregnancy/ labor and beyond? for yourself/baby/family etc

This is my 4th and probably won't breastfeed for so long this time, I only really plan to do a few weeks/a month this time so my partner can be more involved in the feeding 😄

I will prioritise myself more post birth, less visitors, shower daily (sounds easier than it is), won’t rush to leave the house, make sure I’ve prepped enough meals and actually eat them.
I’ll put less pressure on myself to breastfeed. I’ll do as long as I can whilst it’s still convenient for us as a family and stop as soon as it isn’t.
Labour I’ll be demanding an epidural from the off 🤣. There’s no prize for tolerating the pain at the end of it. I have no idea why I let myself struggle to the point of exhaustion for so long during my last Labour.

With my first, there was meconium when my water broke (she pood inside) so the midwife wanted to monitor the baby’s heartbeat throughout the labour and every time I got into an upright, forward, open position (UFO), she made me move because the monitor wasn’t picking up the baby. I changed into all of the positions I could think of whilst I’m 10cm dilated and trying to push but midwife was so unhelpful and kept telling me to lie on my back to push. Eventually I gave in and pushed on my back for 2.5hrs and baby got stuck so had to do episiotomy and forceps delivery and get epidural after all of that pushing. This time, I will really advocate to push in the position I want and not give in. I’ve had pelvic floor problems from my first delivery which is most likely caused by the long pushing and assisted delivery.

Honestly I’m not going to be timing wake windows and tracking my baby’s feed to the ounce and minute, it was completely pointless the first time, if my baby is hungry they can eat and if they’re tired they can sleep, I make so much extra work for myself constantly worrying about getting everything exactly how it should be that it made me and baby miserable
Hello there! Has anyone flown after week 27? I’m planning on going away for a weekend at week 29. But since this is my first pregnancy, does anyone know the exact rules? 💕

My boy is 16 months old and I’m thinking of getting him a pillow and duvet?? Is your little one having one yet or still waiting?

Seen a few ladies post in here about bhcg blood tests and it's making me jealous! Where in the UK is that a thing you can get?! In my county, you can only get it privately and I dont have the money for that. I know you can get it after recurrent miscarriages but I've only had 2 so they wont do anything.
I'm so scared things arent progressing as they should! Im 4+3.

I’m 28w 3d and since about 26 weeks I’ve been losing my appetite. I have extreme fatigue and can’t sleep at night, sleep all day and have no motivation to eat. I usually don’t even get hungry and struggle to eat even just one meal a day. I had an increase in appetite at 24 weeks but that came with nausea. Simply getting up to get something to eat I get Braxton hicks and get uncomfortable for hours after eating.
Before I got pregnant I’d regularly skip days of eating again because I was just tired but I’ve made real efforts during my pregnancy and the hunger was real during first trimester.
I’ve maintained gaining a pound a week so far in my pregnancy, even gaining back what I lost during first trimester.
I don’t know if it’s normal or stress related but my family is stressing about it and constantly telling me I’m starving my baby, but I’m just not hungry.
What can I do to help increase appetite or fit in extra calories without eating but still getting enough nutrients?
