Advice please.

I’ve got a 3 yr old and a newborn and my toddler still gets his individual play and attention when I can but he also loves to give his brother a kiss and to to say hi to him . I’ve been a SAHM since before my oldest was born and we are close but he loves to mimick whatever I do with baby with his plushies and to teach his baby brother about dinosaurs bc ofc that’s very important to him . Back when I was pregnant to keep my toddler happy about having a brother we’d let him talk to and kiss the baby bump if he wanted and we said it was to help him grow just like hugs and kisses help our toddler grow too and it became a daily thing and he’d tell stories to him by talking at my belly . Don’t stress the bond you two will be close . I’ve always adored my toddler but it’s a whole other level of love watching him be a big brother .

Completely normal to feel like this. I felt exactly the same when I found out I was pregnant with my second, although my eldest was only 1 at the time. I don’t think I smiled for a month! Fast forward to 2 years later and I’m expecting baby number 3 in 2 weeks. I make sure to spend 1:1 time with each of my kids but also time together. She’s still my absolute little bestie we went for our hair and nails on Friday and it was much needed! Congratulations mumma!
