Burnt out autism mama here!

I just wanted to rant a little, I’m not sure if I’m the only mama here that feels burnt out sometimes? I also feel guilty about feeling burnt out! It’s just so hard, I feel so bad for my autistic toddler who is non verbal, he has trantrums/meltdowns due to the snowy weather here in CT, he loves the spring and summer weather most! Any tips on how to not feel so burnt out?! I feel like a bad mom when I feel so burnt out sometimes!

What I can say is when they get a bit older and start being able to express themselves and you have figured out their language some of that fades there will always be challenges but we over come and they teach us what we need to know to be able to help them we just have to be open to watching and listening 😊 my son is about to turn 17 and some days are better then others 🩷

He’s 4 but after he sleeps does he sleep through? I take my breaks at night. I go out on a Friday night from about 6-12/1am (my boy sleeps through) I go bachata/salsa dancing it’s been my hobby the last 3yrs. For parents it’s easier to take our breaks at night I find, esp if I wanna go see a friend or go for dinner/drinks w her, much harder to do w an EBF baby but becomes much easier at this age when they sleep through and don’t wake at night.
