Back pain

34 weeks pregnant, baby has been head down for a while. But the past 3 days I’ve had excruciating back pain! I’m wondering if he’s flipped back to back? Or where this is normal for third trimester? I’m a FTM so I have no clue😅

FTM too. Heard it could be back labour. I'd phone triage and if you can't get through then labour and delivery

Sounds like baby could definitely be back to back with you which sucks I had it with my first

If it turns out baby is back to back definitely try some exercises to flip them the right way. I’d hate to scaremonger you, but back to back labour is not the one 🙅‍♀️ x

My first labour was back to back and very painful but I got through it with gas and air. This time round I’ve had horrendous back pain from about 25 weeks that’s just getting worse so hoping baby isn’t back to back again 🫠

Can confirm he isn’t back to back, he just likes to push against his mums spine with his feet😂

About to be 29 weeks tomorrow time is going so fast but also hurry up 😂

Pee’d myself or water broke?

I’m seriously so unsure on if my water broke or not. I had a bad “I need to pee feeling” as I was bending down to grab a trash bag and when I got back up I felt like I tinkled myself a little and then I was like oo yeah I gotta go. Before I know it, I can’t stop and it keeps coming. I feel like it really could have been that I thought about it too much and a little coming out made me want to pee more but this is my 2nd pregnancy and my water did not break the 1st time so I’m unsure and now stressing out. It happened like 40 minutes ago and I haven’t had any more “fluid” since then. I also could not tell the color as I was wearing black pants but it did smell like mainly urine

8 weeks 2 day scan!

Can’t believe how much my baby looked like a baby at my private scan! 8 weeks 2 days via abdominal ultrasound. Got an nhs scan tomorrow due to HG, hoping they’re still cooking away nicely. After two miscarriages this year it’s the first time I’ve got to see a heart beat❤️🙏

20wk ultrasound tomorrow

First time mum and have my 20 week ultrasound tomorrow!
Very excited I get to see my baby boy again!
How long will the appointment last?

Also I understand this is likely to be my last NHS ultrasound which feels so crazy because it is only half way through pregnancy!

Wondering if it is worth getting a private ultrasound later on?

Birthday Party Awkwardness

So I just went to a kid's birthday party with my little one today, and I felt like I was sooooo awkward. I didn't really know anyone, and spent most of my time focusing on my baby. I just feel like I struggle so much to "act natural" in social situations, especially in large group settings. My fear is that I'll somehow pass my awkwardness to my kid. Any other mamas out there feel this way?
