Going up and down formula intake

My little on has never really been a milk girl she lost a fair bit of weight at birth because she was so sleepy we got put on feeding schedule and pretty much still do that now at 4 months old so we feed her every 3.5-4 hours depend on what time her first one was to make sure we fit in 5 bottles.

She goes through stages where she’ll drink loads and up her milk then she’ll go back works and kind of go off it and not drink much.

She’s 5.5kg so 12ibs 2 when I got her weighed last week so going on the rule 150ml - 200ml per kg she should be having 825ml - 1,100ml a day but this is what she’s had the past few weeks see how her intake went up then is going back down. (Today was a awful day we was out so she didn’t drink much of her second bottle then the dream feed on her 5th she’s just falling asleep struggling to wake her up for it)

Is this ok? She’s still following her line so far but her formula intake isn’t really going up as it should so I’m scared of her dropping any centiles

Growth spurts and mental leaps play a big part in this. They go up on a growth spurt and down after. It's variable and an guide rather than a rule. What baby has read the manual ;)

Sleep and feeding needs are wildly different for each of us and bubs are the same.

Plus my girl is a grazer!

She lost weight too and at that scary newborn time we had that same stress but now I can see she's put on weight and she knows when she's hungry (drain a bottle) or grazy (has an ounce or two).
I'm following her cues and she's putting on weight and growing out of her onesies so I'm not timing the feeds I'm going with the flow and we're both happier for it.

My lo is 5 months on the 10th and he doesn’t have a bottle at all when he wakes up which means he’ll not have had a bottle for about 4 hours then his next two are maybe 3-4 ounces then 6 for the rest of the day sometimes still leaves an ounce or two and through the night drinks all of it. I think it just depends on their hunger, as long as she’s not losing weight she’ll be absolutely fine x

Anyone else feel like as soon as their baby turned 8m old they are acting like a completely different baby? She's become noticeably more difficult as far as behavior.

Please tell me what your experience is with your 8m old.

Postpartum hair loss

Let’s see it ladies.
You’ve got to laugh or you’ll cry, let’s be honest 🤣

Edit: this is what I caught in the shower and does not include anything that went down the plug, anything that stayed on my comb, anything still attached to my body when I got out or anything that was still in the bath when I was done ✌️.

Help!!!!

Someone please help me with some advice because I’m losing my absolute mind 😭
Baby is 5 months old, she has changed a lot in personality over the last month, more needy, sleep changes etc but have put it down to the 4 month regression and teething.
However, the problem that makes me want to literally cry is the car seat! She is totally inconsolable now every time she’s in the car. Why? And what can I do to help it?!

In the trenches 🫠

My baby is almost 4 months, she was always so happy and smiley but recently she SQUEALS!!! if she’s not squealing, she’s crying, no matter what we do.

When we pick her up, she wants to move every two seconds and stiffens up and screams at us to move her, in the car, play gym, in her swing chair.. it’s relentless!!!

Anybody else experienced this?? I’m worried (although I hope not!) that because I never let her “self soothe” and responded to every sound she’s made that I may have spoiled her like people said and I laughed at?

Pic of my usually smiley girl so we don’t get lost 🩷

Who is in the same boat?

FTM to a 7 week old who has been incredibly chilled up to now bar problems with wind. From 6 weeks old he has been crying none stop and will only soothe with contact naps. I am unable to put him down and even on me he seems to wake up screaming crying for no apparent reason. He is absolutely fine at night but day times are a different story and he seems to go through a cry - feed - contact nap - cry- feed cycle until he goes down at night. I know this must be a phase but I am STRUGGLING. is anyone else going through the same thing?
