We’ve done a few flights I really recommend a nursing pillow just to put on your lap and baby can sleep there. We also got some ear defenders from Amazon just for the noisy take off. And try to feed during take off and landing or if not offer dummy to help with ear pain. We also bring the baby carrier just for to and from the gate to plane xx

Book the bassinet on the plane if you can. I cannot overstate how amazing this is. With my older child we went to Japan at 7 months old. We booked the bassinet and he slept in it for 6 hours, had a feed, slept another 5 and only complained for the last hour.
