So I’ve recently had my second baby he’s 12 days old he’s amazing I adore him so much but his dad? Doesn’t help as much he’s always gaming or on twitter and I feel so alone sometimes I’ve got a toddler as well who’s 4 soon and it’s a lot of work and I just feel like I’m a ghost to him. The second he wakes up straight onto twitter he’s on that more than he helps me and it’s so frustrating but whenever I mention it I’m the bad guy. I don’t know what to do (Breaking up obviously isn’t a choice as I love this man.) I’m just stressed and feel lonely thanks for reading

I think you really need to sit him down and lay your cards out on the table. I would suggest telling him you’ve thought about leaving him and see his reaction to this. If he doesn’t seem to care then I think that his actions are telling you a lot or if he does care, it might shake him up abit. From experience with friends in the past , having a lack of interest in your 12 day old baby is the biggest red flag in itself and I certainly wouldn’t put up with that. If you struggle to voice it and think he will shut you down, write it in a letter.
Could you say how you’re feeling emotionally to him and start with that? What about a rota for day and night feeds etc if he’s on paternity leave too? You have to communicate exactly how you’re feeling or things aren’t going to change sadly!

This is a very petty approach but you should change the wifi password and tell him parts of the new password whenever he does a job to help you😂
