Nearly 10 months in, would it be safe to stop sterilising bottles?

Im waiting until 12 months, especially because my LG is formula fed x
I stopped at 6 months my little one is formula fed x
I’m stopping at 1year. However if little one isn’t on normal milk (not cows milk as has allergies) then I may continue untill I find a suitable milk for him. I do the same with my now 3 year old. Sterilised till she was onto cows milk fully x
If using formula, no its not safe/recommended to stop.
