Mat leave

If you’ve had enhanced maternity then you’ll have to pay back what you owe or work to ex amount of time until you can leave. If you’ve just had statutory pay then you won’t have to pay anything back and don’t have to return back to work x

Depends on your contract and/or your companies maternity policy. Some would require you to pay back any enhanced pay you have had unless you return for a certain time period and some don’t have this in their policies/contracts at all x

Defo check your policy on repayment. Mine doesn’t require us to repay enhanced.

Do they know you don’t intend to return? I would hand my notice in the same way, and if you don’t have another job to go to yet, try to have your leave date as late as possible so your length of service is as long as it can be, but also because you’ll accrue holiday up until then.
