I think from what I’ve gathered most moms that find it easy; have a nanny, their kids got to daycare 5 days a week, and or they have grandma watch their kids a lot. Poll below:

It’s def having help from family… even if there’s daycare and your working it’s so much too juggle.

I have one 4 year daughter and she’s very easy… BUT I have a feeling multiple young kids all at once are definitely a challenge.

I thought it was easy at first 😮💨 I was a daycare teacher with 12 two year olds then quit to be home with my oldest. It was so easy even during my extreme painful second pregnancy it still wasn’t that bad. Second comes along and we had some rough days but over all not terrible. Then they became 1 & 3 and holy fuck I swear they’re trying to kill me! I haven’t heard silence in over a year lol I have a great husband who helps all the time and my parents are pretty involved and usually watch them every couple weeks so it helps some

I think its easy because I've been around kids since I was 11, I don't have my kids in daycare and we homeschool, so I don't get a break really. It's easy because we have spent time building a routine, but don't be mistaken it's challenging at times

I work a full time job being a single mother to now 3 kids, i only have my mom that helps me.

I find it easy being a mom to a 1yo. It comes very natural to me and I have a great bond with my son and he’s also very obedient. Unfortunately we live 2,000 miles away from family and we don’t have a nanny or daycare so it’s just my husband and I. At this point idk if I could accept help because I’m so use to doing it with just my spouse. Anyways, I think it just depends if you have an easy kid and if you ENJOY it perhaps.

I think for me is we tried for so long tht even thru those rough moments I try to take it all in .

Some kids are harder than others. And no one really knows what’s going on at home. My sister in law would say it’s easy. But I know what the house is actually like and why it is “easy “.

I have a 3-year-old I am having no help at all.
I’m the original poster. To add my opinion; I don’t find it easy. My son was a complete Velcro baby - I held him for 7-8 hours a day as an infant. He hated baby wearing- so I held him in my arms or he laid on my chest. He still doesn’t go to sleep easily. He stopped napping when he was 1 year old. He was never happy to just chill in the crib, or on a play mat. He had 3 types of therapies as a baby. He is supposedly “normal” but I suspect he might have ADHD or autism. Now he is very hyperactive and opinionated as a child. I don’t have family in town, my mom has probably babysat 1-2 times per year. My husband works long hours. So it’s me and my son - 13 to 14 hour days - no naps from him.

Hot take but I also think a mom’s pre-child life makes a huge difference on whether or not they find it easy or not. I won’t go into it because I think it will offend some people.

I don’t find it hard to be a mom I find it hard to have to care for my baby and do chores all on your own . Even with in laws next door and a husband. I barely get any help . It’s easier being at work with many children I find as you have other adults working as a team , you don’t have to beg anyone to help .

I find it tasking and challenging at times. I keep baby full time and sahm. I do have my mom and sis who are VERY hands on even though they live 2 hours away. And even with all i have i find it tasking. I think womens overall sense of self and well being matters. Your ability to adjust to change, time management, lifestyle skillset, ability to self soothe and cope, support systems, economical resources, self care, and overall sense of feeling stable amd well impact how a person experiences motherhood…. and thats before we even get to actual care and individual challenges of the actual child itself. The first line of defense though is a active emotionally mentally physically engaging and empathetic supportive partner can make the world of difference…. Majority of men even if sell meaning just are clueless thoughZ

Depends on the children. My first was so easy breezy as a baby that I genuinely thought I was an amazing parent. 😂😂😂😂🫠 then I had my second and I understood why everyone said parenting was hard and now that I have the 2 it’s sooo hard! And I have a lot of support from family. I honestly think single parents are unbelievable heroes

Well... I know people who work full-time and got their children in daycare full-time. They also struggle, find motherhood challenging and find different kind of difficulties.
Having extra help around certainly reduces the load. But also having babies that are not demanding. I have seen babies who sleep all day and night and when awake they are very mellow. I have seen those mothers are the ones who don't understand the hardships of becoming a parent.

So many factors! Temperament of child, temperament of parents, parents expectations of parenting and their willingness to adjust their lifestyle are probably the biggest factors . Mental health, health of relationship of parents/relatives. Support networks sure do help but I think the other factors matter more. How much stress there is from other factors like financial/work/housing/family/relationship. Kids being in good childcare helps in some senses but often they are in childcare because parents are working which can also be a massive challenge to juggle it all.

I find it easy and my daughter isn’t in any sort of child care. I do have family help but not daily or even weekly only when I have plans that she can’t come to then she has a sleepover with one of her grandparents. I put a lot of things in place to make it easy and did/do a hell of a lot of research. We’ve had a routine since 3 months old, she’s slept alone since the day she was born never coslept or contact napped, has been around a variety of people since a newborn so she’s happy around other people and she’s never been extremely attached to me. Day to day it’s just me and her, no help. My mum even pointed out the other day how I’ve never needed any help and she loves my parenting and even wishes she parented like me when me and my brother were little. I think for some people that truly is the case, they have a lot of help which is great for them. Also appreciate the people who put the work in though, from day dot to make things easier for themselves and their child/children

I also know someone who finds it eeeasy, she has four children with about 1-2 year gaps in between.
She loves it. But she decided not to stress about a lot of things... All are allowed screen time, eating puffs, if they want to eat food, good, if not, it's fine, she always has pouches around, two were using pacifier until they were three and four and decided to leave it by themselves...
Some are making different choices to make their life easier.

I lucked out and got a super chill easy baby/toddler. She’s nearly 3, I stay home with her full time. My life is easy, hence why I’m never having another 😅 I do not have a nanny, she doesn’t go to any daycare, and all her grandparents are too far away or still work full time so we see them every few months. It’s a lot more complicated than that.

they expect the kids to raise themselves. My sister in law says this all the time. Very very hands off.

I work from home, get 0 help from family and my toddler has not started daycare, also 16 weeks pregnant and I still find it “easy” to be a mom. I’m tired (a lot) and need breaks, but mom-ing isn’t hard - I love it and I love all the time I get to spend with my son.
I think the word “easy” is very subjective and how it’s placed will differ for each voter. Are you saying it’s easy to parent a child and be present and love on them or all the tasks involved in parenting is easy like chores and running around picking up after your kid? The latter can be hard but the first is too easy.

Depends on the kid(s) and also, what one may consider easy may not be the same for another. There are moms out here that find this easy and some hard as ever and there's some in between, with or w/o a nanny/help.

I’m assuming you meant full time daycare but they stay home? Because I don’t know anyone who works full time and uses daycare who would say that would make parenting easy 😅
My kids are both lower sleep needs. So I literally just spend many more hours parenting each week than many other people. Not because of anything I did or didn’t do or other people did or didn’t do!
The parts of parenting I find easy are like related to parenting skills, I guess? I’m a teacher of almost 2 decades so I’m more well versed in some aspects of child development than other people.
Also from what I’ve seen on this app people sometimes haven’t reached certain stages yet, but don’t realize that - like the 3 month olds who sleep 8 hours at a time…

I have an 8 year old son, but I genuinely love talking care of him and playing games. He was such a fun toddler to be around. We would run through the house pretending to be superheros! Cleaning up after him wasn't upsetting as I always wanted the best for him. I don't trust daycare or babysitters, so he's never had either. Family watching him had mostly been about me song then favors because they miss him. Maybe I'm weird, but he's my favorite person in the world and I'm never tired of having him around.
I'm not perfect, though. I've definitely gotten frustrated at different times and I've yelled, but I'm always so much more grateful to have him around that being angry never lasts that long.

I also think there are many factors. How much help (family, daycare etc). How many kids and the temperament of the kids. One kid will often be more easy than 2 or 3+. Maybe it’s a mix of it all. Also, how close in age are all the kids.
