I don’t see them being small enough to choke on and maybe they’re required to write this on packaging?

I personally wouldn't return but save for when older

If it’s going to be used under constant supervision then it should be fine but it’s definitely not something you should let an 18 month old play with if you can’t see them.
Is your kid the type to put things in their mouth?
Also it’s not just the size of the actual tiles but if one breaks there’s the possible of it hurting your child and there are magnets inside that could be swallowed.

I read something that said if it can fit through a toilet tube it’s a choking hazard, and I use that as a rule of thumb! I agree the likely hood of them getting that in the throat is unlikely, but better safe than sorry. That being said, defo would let my little one use it if we was sat together playing & my eyes were on him, but I’d defo put out of reach when we had finished playing xxx

I personally would of probably let my son play with these under supervision at that age but I'd be keeping a very watchful eye they don't go near his mouth and also be very aware of them breaking because the magnets can fall out and they'd definitely be a hazard. As others have said the best thing though probably is just to pop them to one side for when older and passed the putting everything in mouth stage just to be sure

I would keep it and let LO play under supervision.

If it can fit through a toilet roll tube they can choke on it.

If these are cheapy ones you can get on TikTok shop/Temu then I wouldn’t leave unsupervised as they can come apart and if they swallow the magnets it can cause a lot of damage x
