Doesn’t shake head or say no

My 15 month old doesn’t shake head or say no- I’ve just read that this is quite late for babies to not be doing this? Is everyone else’s 15 month old doing this?

My daughter has just started saying “no no” and is 15 months. Until very recently she would say yes/nod but just ignore you for no.

16 month old shaking head no but not saying it yet

My 15 month old shakes head but isn’t saying anything yet. I wouldn’t worry at this stage but if you are you could speak with your health visitor. We got some activity ideas from them to encourage speaking x

We've had a couple of 'no's from little one but I couldn't be sure they were intentional, outside of that he says 'yeah' all the time to everything lol.

I was talking about this the other day. Mine doesnt say yes or no and doesnt shake or nod her head and shes just turned 16 months 🤷‍♀️

My baby is 15months....doesn't shake head, say no and probably actually only says 1 word.
He can do sounds, but not words...

My boy shakes his head, tells me no and waves his finger at me 😂 he's a right character. Try not to worry, have you had your 1 year review yet?

I think if they find other way of communicating it’s fine. If they have a tell or do something that tells you no it’s fine. Mine does shake her head but not so much in context but if she doesn’t want something she makes a certain noise and will push away

My little one started saying no by shaking her finger 🤣 then learnt no, she nods for yes but doesn't shake for no. We don't really say No though, we usually say I don't think so.

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

Self settling

Any tips or advice of how to teach 6.5month old to self settle? I’m up multiple times in the night to cuddle her back to sleep and put the dummy in. I understand she will wake up and want a cuddle etc but any tips on self settling would be appreciated 🥰

Hi ya'll

Is anyone else's 4 month old randomly screeching now? I'm not sure what to do and she's been doing this for the past two days. She's usually a quiet happy baby so im not sure why she's doing this now. Aby suggestions?

Baby losing weight

Hi all, it's been a long time since I had a baby (my son is 15!). My daughter is 10 days old and was 9lb born, she has since lost weight at every appointment and is at a 12% loss. I am breast feeding every two hours for over an hour and topping her up every feed. I pump and can get 60ml in 10 minutes so I know my supply is okay. Anyone had this before? Can give me some tips? I currently feel like I'm letting my baby down.
