Hello mamas, my newborn is 6 weeks old. Last night she slept for 9 hours without waking up for a feed. The previous night she slept for 8 hours as well. During the day she had quite a lot awake periods and she was eating well. She also gained 1kg for a month which the midwife said it's very good. Is she okay like that and should I wake her up to feed her during the night?

Id say wake her up to eat, :)

If baby has passed birth weight you don’t need to wake them. Enjoy the sleep you can get before the first regression happens

If she’s gaining just let her sleep and enjoy it before the first sleep regression hits 😅

Let her sleep if she’s gaining weight and has enough nappies! I was lucky with my first born as he slept 12h from 8 weeks so don’t wake baby and enjoy that long stretch to catch up on sleep too 🥺

If her nappies are wet, she’s calm and gaining weight, let her sleep. My daughter was the same from 1 month xx

When my boyfriend was a baby he slept through the whole night & lots during the day. He’s super healthy now & still sleeps like a baby lol. I think all babies are just different. Yours is sleeping through the night and has a good weight! Which is great!!

She’ll wake up if she’s hungry! Enjoy it while it lasts. My first slept 10-6 at 6 weeks and 10-8 at 10 weeks
