Has anyone else’s kiddo started waking up for 3 hour blocks in the middle of the night after making the 1 nap transition? We started transitioning at 16 months, we’re about 3.5 weeks in and she’s also getting molars, but it’s happening maybe 40% of nights and is obvious when it’s not discomfort related, which is more than half the time. More of a restless energy usually falling somewhere between 2-6am. I also cap her nap at 2hr 15m (when she even gets that long). Is this just a thing that happens as they adjust to the 1 nap!? I’m losing it.

Does she wake up at a consistent time everyday? Are her naps at the same time everyday? Is bed time the same time every day? I found with my son (who transitioned to 1 nap around 11 months old) all those things needed to be super consistent and as soon as I nailed all of those down he slept through the night no problem again!

My daughter has been on one nap for a while now, but recently she has started waking up for hours at a time in the middle of the night. She’s also has been having trouble sleeping in general and falling asleep on her own. I just assumed it’s some sort of 18 month sleep regression

we are in a similar position too! Our little guy between the molars and being sick he started needed us to fall asleep! But would consistently wake up after 2-3 hours of being asleep. Like almost a guarantee! So we would end up going to bed so late because basically as we’re falling asleep he always wakes up! It’s been a nightmare. And lately he’s been waking up every 2 hours or so and sometimes for hours at a time!
We figure it’s a sleep regression and his need to be asleep ON us. The last couple of days we’ve had to sleep train him but we’re doing it much differently before. Minimal rocking and reinforce laying him down and sleeping in a laying position. And it’s been helping!!
We also got him a little toddler pillow and took away his feetless sleep sack
