Just had my 37 week midwife appointment today and they said that my baby is 3/5 engaged, does that mean baby’s head is basically fully in my pelvis? (Can’t remember what it means from my first baby 😂)
Also my blood pressure was quite high and I had to go to triage, they checked again it was ok but I have to go back again tomorrow to see a doctor in the day assessment unit, what happens if it doesn’t come down?
I’m 37 weeks pregnant now so I have 2 weeks or more before I give birth, as with my first I gave birth at 39 weeks even tho (I was induced) so is there enough time if needed to bring my blood pressure down? As usually I have really good blood pressure so I’ve never experienced this before even before pregnancy so this is all very new to me 😂

Hey! I was high risk for preeclampsia with my 1st baby (14 months old now), same for current pregnancy (33 weeks now), in my experience I went to triage 37+ 4 days with 1st as reduced movement, not feeling right. Bp was high so diagnosis was preeclampsia and was induced. She came next day (got all the way to 10cm but ended in em c section) so was born 37+ 5days. I was at triage last night for the same issues but my BP settled. Just waiting to see if they're going to give me the monitor for home or not (they wanted that lastnight but daycare say I don't meet the criteria, even with my history and last night and want me to go weekly for checks to the hospital). I'm currently on crutches due to my existing 3 slipped discs issue being aggrivated by the pregnancy so said I can't do that with my 14 month old and crutches 😂 we'll see if they give me the machine.
But if BP doesn't go down they'll either give you meds to try get it level or look to induce if not I'd say but don't worry :) they'll keep you right xx
