We got it for our kiddo and I absolutely love it. The only issue I've had is that sometimes, if I'm downstairs with the baby and the docking station is upstairs, it loses connection.

We personally are doing a camera monitor unless she has a medical need for one. Some friends got one at their shower and ended up having a need for it so I’m glad it was on their registry, but we don’t personally see a need unless we end up having to monitor our girl to that extent.

I got it with my first after he got Bronchitis at 4 months i stopped using it just after a year, was going to sell it but forgot, then had baby no2 and have been using it since birth i absalutely love them as a mother who had terrible night anxiety and couldnt sleep whenever my babys where sick its really changed my sleep for the better

My twin’s pediatrician (Dr. C) and NICU nurses said not to get them. They said it produces false positives, and just unnecessary increase in anxiety during your postpartum recovery.
This is what my psychologist (Dr.P) and OB (Dr.A) recommended to me… sleep. Sleep actually gave me energy, and it is proven scientifically it will keep the kids safe. So my husband would cover the 12AM feeding. I would sleep from 9PM-3AM. I fed babies, and pumped at 3AM and fell back asleep from 4AM-6AM.
Owlets do not prevent SIDS according to the 3 doctors I spoke to (OB, Ped, and Pysch), and at least 4 NICU nurses.

We used a Snuza which was absolutely brilliant for the most part! Had a couple false alarms where it unclipped etc but apart from that it was a good more affordable option. The Owlet seems amazing though x

It's always been great for us- used with multiple kids. I even stick it on my toddler when sick for peace of mind.
Had my GTT and wondered how we find out the results? Are they uploaded into my pregnancy notes on the portal? Do you get contacted by someone if they are positive etc? Haven’t been given any information on next steps etc. Based in Hertfordshire!

Even though this is my second baby, I feel so nervous. Especially waiting around for things to happen. Every little tightening or ache, my brain immediately thinks something is happening but then it’s nothing!

34 weeks tomorrow and just ready for this baby to be evicted! I never struggled in my last pregnancy but this time everything seems to be going wrong 😩 I was diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism a few weeks ago and my anxiety is sky high and I just can’t breathe especially with a big boy pressing on my lungs 🤦🏼♀️ Please tell me I am not the only one who is done😭

Second pregnancy - third baby! Just feeling all the emotions at the moment as I’ve got my beautiful twin girls already and I am more thinking about them than my baby boy who is going to be born tomorrow! Also worried about my recovery and the c-section itself as there is more at risk.
Really hope that these sad feelings go and I feel happy and excited for the girls to have a new baby brother. Not sure why I’m posting.
Is anyone having their c section soon? Or has the same feelings? Xx
