5 months old, she hasn’t laughed yet, she smiles and babbles but not an actual laugh. She can’t roll, doesn’t even try to and doesn’t put weight on her legs when I hold her up. She can’t or doesn’t reach for toys. She was checked at the gp when she was 3 months as she was really stiff and always upset, he was worried she may have Cerebral Palsy… Shes much happier now but just seems to lay and stare at the ceiling. Anyone else experiencing this?

My little boy is similar although he does giggle. But everything else you mentioned is the same. I spoke to my HV and she said there is such a broad spectrum of expected milestones that I shouldnt worry at this stage.

I wouldnt worry, some babies just progress faster and we are always trying to race eachother😅 "whose baby did it first" i would just keep playing with her and encouraging her to reach for toys, she might just be a bit of a lazy baby. My little girl is 5months too and she will do something new and then wont do it again for a week or so😁

I just wanted to mention trying to put her to stand so to speak. We did that a lot with ours, but she has positional hip dysplasia in her left hip it turns out and our orthopaedic surgeon categorically advised us not to put them in that position under any circumstance as it’s far too soon. I had no idea and we did it for weeks. Sorry for unsolicited advice and being off topic.
