What nobody talks about 😂

Everybody always talks about the newborn stage and the terrible twos and all that but why nobody told me about the “awkward” age… the 7 to maybe 10 years old stage where they still act like a toddler but tests your gangster… my daughter is 8 and I’m sorry but she is annoyingggg yall 😂😂😂 she always has a question about someeeeething always wanna know why or how always bored (in her own room with everything a 8 year old girl would need and want ) younger sis (2y/o) has the spotlight ? Big sis is definitely doing something to steal it 😂😂😂 idk just a rant can anyone else relate

So relatable! I have a 9 yr old daughter and a 10 month old son and she constantly tells me she doesn’t feel loved or apart of the family. Which is total bs. We play uno 5x a day we watch movies, draw, sing, dance etc there are times that I have designated for me time and it’s when he’s down for naps so I can recharge but this child of mine wants attention 24/7. She gets super jelly when we give the little on attention but I remind her that I gave her the same when she was this small and he needs attention too. I swear she still acts like a 4 yr old at times with the questions and always needing something that she can 1000% get on her own. I hear you, I see you, you are not alone! 😆

The same thing is going on over on my end. My son is 3 and he just started school this year so he’s so excited to talk about his day and what he’s learned but my daughter always has to one up him and try to steal the spotlight

omg yes I have a 9 year old and love that girl to death but she 100% will do anything and everything to steal any attention from her 2 year old sister lmao

I have a 10 going on 11 in a few months that tests my gangster more than my toddler ever did. Never takes an answer for what it is 😂

I’ve got 11,9, and 4mo. My son HATED that I was even pregnant and tested my inner gangster daily until my lo was about 7 weeks old then my 9yo decided he loved being the middle child but oh boy was it rough there for a hot minute

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

Self settling

Any tips or advice of how to teach 6.5month old to self settle? I’m up multiple times in the night to cuddle her back to sleep and put the dummy in. I understand she will wake up and want a cuddle etc but any tips on self settling would be appreciated 🥰

Hi ya'll

Is anyone else's 4 month old randomly screeching now? I'm not sure what to do and she's been doing this for the past two days. She's usually a quiet happy baby so im not sure why she's doing this now. Aby suggestions?

Baby losing weight

Hi all, it's been a long time since I had a baby (my son is 15!). My daughter is 10 days old and was 9lb born, she has since lost weight at every appointment and is at a 12% loss. I am breast feeding every two hours for over an hour and topping her up every feed. I pump and can get 60ml in 10 minutes so I know my supply is okay. Anyone had this before? Can give me some tips? I currently feel like I'm letting my baby down.
