So to try to explain this in the best way possible I have a very small apartment.
I opened my back door which leads directly to the laundry room of the building. Lately, I started bringing my son in the laundry room with me because he bangs on the door and tries to get out.
Today I opened the door to get my stuff out of the dryer. I saw I guess my neighbor putting stuff in the washer. It’s a very tight space so I closed the door and was planning on going back after he leave instead of crowding up the space with the baby. Plus I was in shorts and had no bra on, it was an older man.
I latched my door with the dead lock as I usually do so that I do not get locked out and I just left it that way without thinking about it.
I turned my back walk maybe about 5-7steps. My apartment is barely 15 steps front to back.
Turn around. Realize my baby is GONE he’s only 16 months!
I start yelling for him. I approach the door and I hear my son laughing…
The man had opened my door to lure my son in the laundry room with him without me knowing!!!!!!!
They were playing 🤯
He was there for no more then 20-30 seconds if that. It happened so fast, he doesn’t speak good English he’s polish
My door usually slams loud when closed, so this was done quietly…..
When I discovered that the man was with my son, I was trying to simply take my kid back in the house, but he continued on playing and I was yelling at my son that he shouldn’t be wondering without me.
No, first off I know for a fact, my son did not open the door number one. It’s very heavy and number two. He doesn’t know how to open doors yet.
And I asked the man straight out did my son open the door and he said no I did.
My son could get the door to open maybe an inch, I know that. So he must have done that and the man just decided to open it and bring my son with him.
I’m so outraged. Annoyed, uncomfortable. I live alone just me and my son.
What do I do?
I don’t know if he is maybe a visitor, I see his car sometimes but usually it’s another person who looks like him with a different car. Maybe my neighbors dad is my best bet.
Anyway. What should I do? Should I bring this to management. Should I approach my neighbor and figure out exactly who that was?
Thanks ladies wish me luck

Let management knew but that’s dangerous because if they let him know he know where you stay and that your alone

I would be upset too. I’d start by asking the neighbor who that was and politely have them pass along that it’s not okay. If it happens again, you could report it to management, though they may not be able to do much.
If he does it again, I would address it directly: “I’m really uncomfortable with you opening my door and taking my son without my permission. If this happens again, I will call the police.”

This is absolutely unacceptable you should 100000% percent let your landlord know.

Get a backdoor camera. Get a dog. Put mens shoes outside so he thinks u live with baby father

Very scary situation. But you did mention he’s not from here, and coming from an immigrant family myself, I could honestly see some of my uncles doing something like this innocently, without thinking anything bad of it. Maybe he genuinely thought you wouldn’t mind.
That said, you still have to be careful. If you report it and he actually did have bad intentions, that could escalate things in ways you can’t predict.
Maybe a safer approach would be to have a male friend or someone with a strong presence go over there with you. They could introduce themselves and say something like, ‘Hey, I wasn’t home earlier, but I heard you were really nice to my son. I just wanted to come by and introduce myself.’
If the man isn’t there, your friend could still ask around and say, ‘My wife mentioned an older man was playing with my child earlier, and I just wanted to know who that is and introduce myself.’
It sets a boundary without immediately escalating, but still lets him know you’re not alone

That’s scary. Who knows what would have happened if you didn’t notice he was gone so quickly. I’d do both - management and the neighbor
My husband says I’m weak minded and he wants a divorce.
I’m pregnant and we have one child together.
I currently am a stay at home mum.
I told him I’m not weak minded or jealous.
All this coming out so harshly is pure evil.
I said divorce but let me find a job first.
He did say to abort the child too.
He is happier without me.
He says first pregnancy I shown no hormonal symptoms like I am now.
Also he says never seen someone argue with their parents like me. I said my dad is a wind up and mum is hot headed.
I still speak to them after we do argue.
I said give one good quality of me.
He says I’m good at cleaning.
I said what about intelligence?
He did not say anything.
He said I hope after abortion you are fine.
I’m like wtf is wrong with you?
I am a fucking strong woman, I’m not weak minded or jealous.
Because of me he don’t have to do drop off and pick ups from nursery.
I actually will probably do an abortion as don’t want to have it with this man.
I want to leave him asap and take my son with me.

Hi, FTM to an adventurous 9m daughter and her dad has revealed that he doesn’t feel the warm fuzzy feeling as she is too dependent on me.
I EBF and he doesn’t like how she cries when away from me and keeps saying I need to give up work as we are codependent.
I try to make them have time together but he just doesn’t want to anymore and switches off to the toilet or his phone.
Can people help as it’s impacting me doing anything for myself now (he has to bring her in when I shower or she’ll cry). I don’t want this type of attachment as I’m going work soon

So my partner is gone on a stag iv at home with my 2.5 year old and 11 month old anyways since he’s been gone my little girl is crying for him. He said he would ring them in the morning and evening well he hasn’t bothered only when I ring him for 5 mins but I’m so annoyed I have to remind him to actually ring the kids not communicating great and i really lost it. Hes on a stag with all hes friends who ain’t dads yet but it’s like he needs reminding he’s 2 kids at home. Im all for him to go spend time with the kids but not to check in on the kids or even to ask how everything is really annoying sorry just needed a rant

Would love some opinions. My husband has been commenting this evening about how tired and achy he is feeling, we have both been a little ill the last few days. this in itself doesn’t annoy me too much because I can appreciate that I have looked after our 4 month old all day and he has been out working all day. What annoys me is the following-
1. He came home after work and it was nearly an hour and a half before he finally came downstairs and took over care of our daughter. In the time he was just chilling I did a whole feed and two nappy changes plus general care.
2. He says he’s so tired knowing full well that he will have a decent night sleep tonight and I will be the one getting up to do feed and changes throughout the night etc …which irritates me as it feels like a real lack of awareness for what is ahead for me
3. Tomorrow (Saturday) he is going to watch his team play football with his dad so I will be on my own looking after baby most of the day. He made a joking comment about how he’s so tired that when he gets back from football tomorrow he will need to sleep the rest of the weekend …again I feel a complete lack of awareness on his part and appreciation for how I am feeling and how exhausted I am , plus the fact that I never feel like I get time to myself or time to do things I like the way he does
Am I being too sensitive? Should I say anything?

Hey all!
My little girl is 8 months, 9 months on the 24th. What are we giving our babies in terms of food?
She’s had broccoli and carrots which she loves but she isn’t so keen on cauliflower.
She is mostly having pouches but wanna start making her some homemade dinners.
Any recommendations?
